Made of aluminum alloy casing with an 8.4V 4400mAh rechargeable battery pack. Has 4 modes, Normal/High/Low/Strobe. Includes 110V battery charger. Bike lights do generate heat, much like a light bulb at home. Keep air flowing over them to help dissipate that heat and use caution when handling until it cools. If light does overheat it will protect itself by shutting off. Keep in mind, the mAh of the battery is what determines how long you can use the light before needing to recharge. We always recommend having a spare if you do a lot of night riding, or buying a larger size battery pack, which we sell as accessories. The size of the battery packs in many cases makes the difference in the higher price of the lamps.
